Any expats in Bangkok willing to teach?

GREETINGS FROM TORONTO, I am traveling to Bangkok next month, arriving the morning of 9 November. I wonder if there might be some foreigners who are willing to take "under his wing" and show me around the city. I'll get a dental work, and distribute about 20 boxes of toys and school supplies have been donated to me by Canadian companies. I have the hope of the Canadian Embassy will help me to receive the shipping and handling from me to a decent school or orphanage. As for me, and my interests, I have 43 years, single, somewhat athletic (not "athlete") and in good shape. I love everything to do with the water (sailing, diving, snorkeling, fishing, etc.) and basically just want someone to show where to go and what to avoid. As some compensation goes, I would be happy to pick up anything you need here and take it with me or perhaps entertain you if you come to Toronto. Hope to hear from you!

This website connects travelers with people around the world who are willing to put in place by a couple of nights and / or are in town to show her around and give you the perspective local.
